Dr. Laura Dicochea, of Arizona State University, offers the presentation, “Supporting Transnational Students in Mexico and the United States,” in the Arts and Sciences Building (CASB 117). Dr. Laura Dicochea presents her research supporting transnational students; she critically examines their movement and practices across borders, as well as the educational challenges and opportunities of navigating both educational systems. Dr. Dicochea also earned an academic certificate from ASU in business, legal, and medical translation. El Centro Public Scholars Program event, open to all, in English.
